Assistant Professor

Hongxiang Shen earned his Master's degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2018, and later obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Yokohama National University, Japan in 2023. He is currently serving as an assistant professor at the Institute of Advanced Sciences at Yokohama National University, where he continues to pursue his research. His research interests include a range of areas such as quantum computing, superconductor circuits, cryogenic CMOS technology, novel radio frequency (RF) devices, and quantum algorithm development.

Additionally, Hongxiang Shen is an active member of multiple professional organizations such as The Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Zhang Kuozhong received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences in January 2024, after completing the integrated Master's-Ph.D. program. He is currently serving as an assistant professor at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences (IMS), Yokohama National University, Japan. His research interests include a range of areas such as superconducting circuits, quantum computing, and computer architecture.
